Middle School Students Learning How to Cite Sources!

On Wednesday June 8 and Thursday June 9, Mrs. Finnerty's 6th grade students came down to their library to learn about creating bibliographies in MLA format. We looked at how to do books, how to do magazine articles, and how to do Internet web pages, and then we practiced, practiced, and practiced.

Ms. Cunningham's Students met with their school librarian to show their appreciation for his help on various projects this year. They brought with them a ‘special cake’ to share. Hmm, yummy!

Home & Careers Student Visit for Cultural Research

Middle school students in Ms. Baron and Ms. Vorstadt’s Home and Careers classes visited the Library Media Center on Thursday and Friday, and they will return on Monday, to conduct research on the countries where their families are from and to find recipes native to these countries.
