Ms. LeMoine's Students Visit to Study the Cultures of French-Speaking Countries

Ms. LeMoine's students visited today to study the French cultures and to research French recipies that they will later prepare and share with their classmates. Yumm!

Ms. White's Students Visit to Learn About Nonfiction

Ms. White's students today for double-periods to learn about citing sources in MLA and how to perform key-word searches using the library catalog and then in a library database. Later, Mr. Dutcher took them on a tour of the Reference Section of their library to show them some interesting almanacs, dictionaries, and encyclopedeas.

Students Study Infectious Diseases!

Today, Mrs. Michaels' honors biology students visited the library as they continue to research infectious diseases for class. Mr. Dutcher provided instruction to them on evaluating materials found on the Internet and he provided instruction in the application of MLA format. He will be grading their works cited pages which will be worth 10% of the grade for this assignment.
