HS ELA Students Study Greek Mythology

Today, Mrs. Brecht's HS ELA class visited their library to start their Greek Mythology project. Mr. Dutcher provided instruction to them on how to search the library catalog and how to document their book sources in MLA format. Students will return later during the week to continue their research.

Mrs. Lauria's HS ELA Students Read 100 Books!

Mrs. Lauria's students came down to their library today to celebrate that they've read 100 books, and Scholastic will donating 100 books to needy kids. The students came down to the library to see what 100 books looks like and then they helped him sort them prior to the books then being shelved. Congradulations!

Mr. Dutcher Visits Ms. Hanson's Middle School ELA Classes

This week, Mr. Dutcher visited Ms. Hanson's classes to remind students about bringing their ID cards to the library media center when they come down to check out library books.

Students Visit to Study Spanish Cultures and Holidays

Ms. Damian's classes visited today to explore the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries and to find holiday recipies which they then will make and share with everyone in their classes. Yumm!

Retirement Party for Mrs. Baron

Today during Activity Period, staff members from both the middle school and the high school got together to celebrate Mrs. Baron's retirement. Fun was had by all.
