Why a Blog?

This is indeed a good question. Blogs were originally called web logs which soon evolved into the word Blog (web-logs). It is a way for people to do online journaling to share with people who might be interested in your thoughts and ideas. The author creates and posts messages which are automatically dated and listed chronologically, while older messages become archived. Some blogs even allow other users to contribute. Blogs could even be used as part of classroom instruction.
This blog will be used to share information about happenings in the Dryden MS/HS Library Media Center- what classes are scheduled to visit the library today, what new books have arrived, what art classes have student works on display, what's new on the web site, etc. This and other related information that library users will find useful will be posted. Please visit us regularly for current information.
